Lucknow is the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh and the city acts as the administrative district of the state as well. There are three medical colleges in the city according to the record of Medical Council of India and the total number of MBBS seats in the city is 500, which is divided as 100, 250 and 150 for each of the three colleges respectively.
