Maulana Azad Medical College
Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) established in the year 1961 in the capital city New Delhi is one of the premiere medical institutes of the country. Maulana Azad Medical College and allied hospital complex consist of four basic units, namely, Maulana Azad Medical College, Lok Nayak Hospital, Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital and Guru Nanak Eye Centre. The courses the college offer are all under recognition of MCI (Medical Council of India) and has the affiliation of University of Delhi.

There are under graduate; post graduate and post doctoral courses offered by the college in its curriculum we can group them in different categories as follows:

Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Post Graduate:
M D and almost all the medical fields are covered under these courses such as Anaesthesia, Biochemistry including M Sc, Dermatology including Venerology, Forensic Medicine, Medicine, Microbiology, Obstt.and Gynaecology, Pathology, Paediatrics etc. also specialty courses in various fields are offered.
ELIGIBILITY:
The eligibility criteria for the courses can be looked at under the following heads:
Undergraduate:
Candidates must pass their Higher Secondary (10+2 level) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with the science subjects PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
Post Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate:
Candidates must have MBBS degree in the relevant field form a recognized university.
CAMPUS
According to the reputation of the college the campus is also extensive and provides all the necessary facilities to the students. The central library is well stocked and also provides book bank facilities. There are separate hostels for accommodating both boys and girls. There are recreational activity centers and high speed internet facility too.
