Bachelor of Design: B.Des Course Details
A Bachelors degree in design or B.Des is an undergraduate course which is awarded to student after the completion of their studies which last 3 to 4 years. This course is basically an art-centric degree. People who are having a creative sense and are artistic by nature are the most suited candidates for this program.

Eligibility Criteria for B.DES
For joining a Bachelor in Design course students need to clear 10+2 in any stream from a Government recognized Board. They must have passed 12th with more than 45% of marks. Few institutions also carried out entrance exams, which the students need to pass in order to get admission. Design Courses are particularly meant for talented individual who desire to spread out their hidden talent and get recognition for it. Admission Procedure for B.DES
For B.Des Architecture students will have to appear in entrance exams like IIT JEE or AIEEE etc. For courses like B.Des Fashion designing or Interior designing etc SOFT, NIFT, NEED are few of the entrance exams. Interested candidates can submit an application for the course through online and offline method. The admissions are based on the entrance test and also according to the rules of the concerned authority. The marks scored in the entrance test along with the score at +2 levels are the main criterions for selection.
How to fill in M.Des Entrance Application form
The initial step is to collect the application form from the respective authorities by paying the required amount as fee. The candidates need to read the instructions provided in details in the prospectus before filling the application. Never make any sort of mistakes or false detailing about age, marks, mailing address etc. Candidates will be asked to attach the required documents proving the education qualification, age etc, which should be attached along with the application. The candidate must always fill their application form in their own handwriting. Make sure to send the dully filled application to the mailing address before the due date.

B.DES Entrance Exam Pattern
As for the IIT JEE entrance exam students will be asked questions on freehand drawing, Geometrical drawing, Three-dimensional perception, Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity, Architectural awareness etc. Candidates are given prior information to bring a geometry box set. Along with this they must also have pencils, erasers, color pencils or crayons with them at the time of the entrance exam.
The SOFT Entrance Exam is a 100 marks test. The exam is conducted for duration of 2.30 hours. Candidates will have to clear these three sections in the entrance exam. This includes general, managerial and creative ability.

B.DES Course Evaluation
