Forensic science is a branch that uses several branches of science and their principle and draws an exact conclusion by mixing them all. So it becomes a very vast subject, and has plenty of subjects that falls under it. One of those is digital evidence.

Under the digital evidence, various courses are offered. One of them is Bachelor of Digital evidence. Under this course, one is taught the various ways to analyze evidences, and even about those evidences which are not found by analogue methods. Using various digital apparatus, the evidences are found and analyzed.

One needs to be at least 10 + 2 passed in order to be eligible for this course. The passing certificate should be from a recognized educational board of India.

Course Outlook:

The course duration of bachelor of Digital Evidence is not very certain. It varies from college to college. There are few colleges that offer this course with duration of 1 year only. However in many colleges this course gets completed in 3 years. In these colleges the 3 years are divided in to 3 parts of 1 year each. After every year, an examination held, and those who pass this particular examination are promoted to the next part.

Job Prospects:

There are plenty of jobs available in the market for the ones who successfully complete this degree. One can work with the Police department and help them in analyzing the evidences. One can also work with detective agencies and bring out fruitful result.
