Pharmaceutical science is the study of the science and medicine. It plays a main role in the welfare of the human society and also a major role in improving the human health. This branch mainly gives emphasis on the research of the new medicine and its application and it also plays an important role in the effective treatment of the patients. This course of pharmaceuticals trains the students with the necessary skills to work in industry or in the research programs.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for doing B. Pharma is that one should have passed his/her higher secondary exam from a recognized board in India from science stream with subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics and securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The minimum age required for doing B. Pharma is 17 years.

Course Outlook

The course for B. Pharma is of four years. These four years are divided into four parts comprising of one year each and again it is divided into duration of six months semester. At the end of each semester the students has to give the main university exam for being promoted to the next semester.

Job Prospects

After completing the Bachelors degree in Pharmaceuticals they can join the medicinal companies like Cipla, Ranbaxy, Himani Ayurveda science foundation. They can join major laboratory like Life Laboratory.

    I am in my final year B.pharm. I have applied for the course m.pharm-pharmaceutical biotechnology at Amity university ,Noida. I want to know what is the scope of this course in m.pharma ?
