BVP UG Medical CET 2012
The Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune was set up in 1964. It was Dr. Patangrao Kadam who brought the idea of such a University into reality. The main objective of this University was to invoke the dormant talents in Individuals so as to efficiently bring up the idea of National Development and work for bringing it to fruition and hence improve development of the economy as well.
Its achievements in academics and research, keeps gathering great reputation even at the International level. It started operating actively on 1996 after the Government of India promoted it, and the group of 12 Institutions under it, to a University.
The Bharati Vidhyapeeth offers aspirants a chance for admission in BHMS, BAMS, BDS and MBBS courses under it, in the form of a national level Entrance test widely known as BVP Medical CET. Among these courses, earning an admission for the MBBS course is the toughest and the most competitive task. As the demand for medical courses in the BVP University goes higher, the University, according to sources, has been planning to add a number of medical and dental colleges which will obviously add up the seats for admission.
Structure of BVP Medical CET
The BVP Medical CET will have multiple options objective questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). There will be 200 questions in the paper and the candidates will be given 3 hours to finish the exam.
Personal Interviews will not be practiced and the candidate’s HSC marks will not be considered for admission.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have qualified physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks in the Higher Secondary Level board examination and should be passed in English as well with the same. SC/ST students need only 40% marks for all the four subjects mentioned above.
How to Apply?
The Pune, Navi Mumbai and Delhi Institutes of the BVP will be open to distribute application forms for the BVP UG CET by the month of March. The University also facilitates the aid of Postal Service to deliver forms to the candidates if the candidates can submit request letters and a demand draft accompaniment of the prescribed amount including postal charges. Another option is to download the application form from the University’s website, fill it up, take a print out and send it to the exam authorities concerned along with the fee in the form of a demand draft. The form is charged Rs 600/- and the exam fee is said to be Rs 1500/-.
How to fill the Form?
Timely completion of application form fill up and submission is strongly advised. The candidates are to have great care and practice caution while filling so that there wouldn’t be inaccuracies. Paper forms should be dealt with carefully. Every entry should be neat and complete. The form should be revised in case there is a chance that there could be errors. Parental guidance is very much recommended to aid the candidates in filling the form.
Submissions should be by Registered or speed post. The D.D accompaniment should be in favor of the Registrar, BVU and payable at Pune. The candidates’ addresses in the form should be valid and detailed.

DOB of my son is 16/08/1986. He had appeared in medical entrances exams at a few medical colleges in last 3/4 years but could not meet success. Can he appear this year at BVP MBBS Medical entrance 2012. Is there any age bar. He had completed his 10+2 in 2007 under CBSC New Delhi course.Is Kolkata your one of many centres. I want to clarify the thing regarding EXAM-Date of MBBS 2010 as entrance test date has clashed with AMU-MBBS.
Therefore it is requested to you please clarify the notification regarding exam or shift the exam-date.
Since there are very few seats in MBBS-EXAM all over therefore i dont want to miss a single chance of attempt.
