College of Fine Arts acts as the constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth University and the university holds the pride of being the first to introduce Fine Arts College under the affiliation of Pune University. The college of Fine Arts is called as Bharti Vidyapeeth’s Bharati Kala Mahavidyalaya.

The college was established with a view to offer educational opportunities to the students, who wish to make a career in the field of fine arts. The college came into existence in the year 2000 and its vision is to be a leading institution in the field of visual arts.

Course Details:

The only course offered by the College of Fine Arts is Bachelor of Fine Arts: Applied Art. The duration of this course is four years and the institute is approved with an intake capacity of 60 students per year for this course. For seeking admission to this course, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination with at least 50% of marks (45% for reserved category candidates and they should also get through the MH-AAC-CAT, which is the centralized aptitude test conducted by the Government of Maharashtra’s Directorate of Arts.

Placement Cell:

The Bachelor of Fine Arts graduates are placed in esteemed advertising agencies, IT companies, design houses and advertising agencies like affinity express, Infosys, cognizant, etc… The placement procedure followed by the institution has three phases and the first phase begins with the institution sending invitation with appropriate information to the organizations either through post or through email for conducting campus interviews and the final phase ends with the organization producing the final list of selected candidates after completion of final selection process.

Infrastructure:

College of Fine Arts is located in a spacious well-designed building that accommodates different studios and classrooms. The college continuously updates the equipments available with it and sincere efforts are made for imparting the excellent training to the students. The teaching members of the institution include eminent faculties with expertise in respective fields and they are encouraged for training as well. There are different labs pertaining to screen printing, art gallery, photography and computers in the institution.
