Structure of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University PhD Social Science Entrance Test

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate’s eligibility criterion for attending this entrance exam is a post graduation or any other equivalent degree in the same subject area of social science. The candidates should score a minimum percentage of marks at the post graduation level. As per the rule which is specified, the candidates should secure around 55% of marks in the post graduation level. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for the reserved categories such as SC/ST and other categories. The candidates who have work experience in the specified field will also be considered. The candidates who are working in reputed research institutions which are of national importance, national laboratories etc are also eligible for attending the PhD programme provided they are duly supported and sponsored by their employer. It is mandatory for the candidates to submit the “No Objection certificate” in this regard from their respective employer. The rules which are prescribed by the existing councils in case of the other PhD programs are also applicable in this case.

How to Apply?

The candidates in order to apply for this entrance test should follow a specified application procedure. The candidates should obtain the application forms at first to apply for this entrance exam. The candidates can obtain the application forms from the concerned office by depositing the application amount of Rs 500 at the admission counter. The applications can also be obtained by sending a Demand draft of Rs. 700. The candidates should obtain the Demand Draft in favor of the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, which should be payable at Pune.

The candidates should fill in the application forms in the correct manner.  The candidates should fill in the form with ball point pen. The candidates should make sure that they fill in the application forms with all the important and correct details. The candidates should leave appropriate spaces while filling in the forms. The candidates should make sure that they fill in the application forms personally. The candidates should make sure that they should fill the applications only after reading carefully the instructions given in the application brochure. They should make sure that they cross check all the information entered after they finish filling the application forms. In case of entering the DD number and all, it should be entered carefully.
