The Bharati Vidyapeeth University offers many graduate, post graduate and Ph.D programs related to different streams. This is one of the most reputed universities in the country.  The Bharati Vidyapeeth University conducts this exam with a view to select the most qualified candidates for the PhD course in the area of  Chemistry. The candidates have to attend this entrance exam in order to join the PhD programs. The candidates have to perform well in the entrance exams in order to secure admission to this course. The relative score that the candidates score in the entrance exam will determine whether they will be able to join the PhD course.

Structure of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Ph.D Chemistry Entrance Exam

The general structure of the exam will not include objective type question. The duration of the exam will be for 3 hours. The candidates should be fully aware about the structure of the exam before attending the exam. There will be a total of 10 questions which will be given. Each question will cover around 10 marks each. Hence the total score of the exam will be around 100 marks. The candidates should have good knowledge about the post graduation subjects that they have learned as the majority of the questions will be from that area.

Eligibility Criteria

The basic qualification for the candidates to opt for the PhD course is a post graduation degree in the same discipline. The candidates should have secured the post graduation degree in the subject area of chemistry or any other allied subjects. The candidates should have secured the post graduation from a recognized university. The candidates should also have secured around 55% of marks in the post graduation level. If the candidates belong to the reserved categories, they are eligible for relaxations. The candidates who belong to the SC/ST category should score only 50% of marks in the post graduation level. If the candidates are having working experience they are also eligible to apply. The candidates should have experience in research laboratories which are of national importance. But in such cases, it is mandatory from the part of the candidates to obtain the No Objection certificate from the employer.

How to Apply?

The candidates will get the information regarding the application procedure from the application brochure. It is important for the candidates to obtain the application form for applying for the Ph.D program. The candidates can download the application form from the official website of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. The candidates can also get the application forms through post or they can collect it directly from the concerned office. The candidates have to send application form along with the Demand Draft along with the application fees of Rs 2000 to the concerned office of the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune which can be payable at any nationalized bank.

How to Fill the Form?

The candidates should fill the application forms in the prescribed manner as mentioned in the brochure. The candidates after filling the application forms should foresee that whether the information that they have entered is correct or not. The candidates should not leave any columns blank with out filling in the information. The candidates while filling in the names should enter the full name as  mentioned in the birth certificate.
