BLDE UGET is an under-graduate entrance test conducted for selecting eligible candidates to MBBS course in BLDE University. The university is located in Karnataka and it was started in 1910. It is one of the leading medical institutes in India. Candidates from any part of India can apply for the exam.

Basic Eligibility for BLDE UGET

For appearing in BLDE UGET, the applicant must have completed 12th class with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The candidates are also compulsorily required to study English in 12th. The candidates who are going to appear for the final exam in 12th can also apply for BLDE UGET. The minimum age limit for the entrance test is 17 years.

Pattern of BLDE UGET

The candidates can take at most 3 hours to complete BLDE UGET. The entrance test includes 180 objective type questions having multiple choices. The questions will be asked from the following subjects.

• Biology-60 questions
• Chemistry-60 questions
• Physics-60 questions

No negative marking is there for wrong answers.

Syllabus for BLDE UGET

BLDE UGET consists of questions from Chemistry, Physics, and Biology subjects of 11th and 12th approved by the Pre University board of Karnataka. The Physics paper will comprise of topics such as introduction and measurement of waves and physical structures, motion description of one dimension, description of 2 and 3 dimensional motions, current electricity, electrostatics, magnetism, etc. The Chemistry paper includes topics like Hydrocarbons, introduction to P-block elements, etc. The portions included in Biology paper are growth and movement in plants, composition and function of various living organisms, genetics, evolution, ecology, reproduction, etc.

Application forms for the BLDE UGET

The aspiring candidates will get the application forms for the entrance test from the official website of BLDE university. The candidates must draw a DD of Rs. 1500/- in favor of the Registrar of the BLDE University. The candidate has to send the DD along with the filled application. The Demand Draft should be payable at Bijapur. The applicant is also required to paste a recent color photograph in the form. Along with the completed application, the candidate must affix an attested copy of his/her conduct certificate.

Preparation for BLDE UGET

Generally, the medical entrance exam needs more concentration. Therefore, the students who are interested in BLDE UGET have to work hard to qualify the exam. The candidates should put all their effort to crack the exam. The most important criterion in preparation is time management. The applicants should have done a deep study of both theory and practical work. The candidates have to be careful in selecting the reference books. They should always use standard books for reference purposes.  Another good option for preparation is to practice with model question papers. For scoring good percentage in English, the candidates must read the newspapers daily. The candidates should practice daily for 3 to 4 hours in order to get a thorough knowledge of the subjects in BLDE UGET.
