Admission Process for B.Tech in NIT Calicut
Candidates interested to pursue admission in any of the B.Tech streams in NIT Calicut should have successfully completed 10+2 standard or equivalent which is approved by the Association of Indian Universities for Graduate studies in India. The students should also have scored good rank in the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE). Those eligible candidates should apply for admission to NITC through online or offline mode provided by the institute. These candidates will be called up for counseling after which the admitted candidate list will be announced.
Fee structure of B.Tech in NIT Calicut
For the first and second semesters, the students has to pay tuition fees of Rs. 17500/- each and for rest all semesters, the tuition fees is Rs. 7500/- in each semesters. The total fees including tuition fees and all other miscellaneous fees (registration fee, caution deposit, examination fee, admission fee, library fee, growth fund, special fee, Matriculation & Recognition Fee, Sports Amenities Fee, Training & Placement Fee, Amenities Fee, Magazine Fee, etc), the student has to pay Rs. 42657/- for the first year (I & II semesters) and Rs. 18995/- each for the second (III & IV semesters), third (V & VI semesters) and fourth (VII & VIII semesters) year. This may change each year according to the University norms.
