Dell India conducts recruitment through campus and off campus placement drive. Final year candidates who have secured CGPA of 7.25 in sixth semester of BE/ B.Tech courses in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology are eligible to apply. Selection procedure is on the basis of written exam and personal interview.

Eligibility Criterion

Candidates who are pursuing final semester of bachelor of engineering/ technology in any of the subjects such as Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology from a recognized University are eligible to apply. In addition to this candidates who are studying Master of Computer Applications are also eligible to apply. They should have secured at least 65% and above in matriculation and higher secondary examination. In addition to these candidates should have secured Cumulative Grade Point Average of 7.25 & above up to sixth semester are only eligible to apply. Aspirants are supposed to have no backlogs in theory papers as well as in practical. Those who are studying courses which have AICTE approval are only eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

Recruitment is carried out on the basis of written test, test of programming knowledge and final interview. Eligible candidates will be short listed for written exam. There will be a maximum of 5 questions from theoretical topics. Candidates are required to answer all questions. Section II will contain questions from programming topics. There will be a maximum of 10 questions in this section. Out of these, candidates are required to attempt any five questions. Next section will contain questions from analytical reasoning. Candidates are required to answer five questions in this section too. Final section will contain 10 questions from the below mentioned topics.

• Computer Organization
• C + +
• Operating System
• Java
• Computer Networks

From each section, there will be a maximum of 1 to 2 questions. No choice is provided in this section. Those who have cleared the first round will be called for Round II. In this questions will be asked to evaluate the General Knowledge of candidate. There will be a maximum of forty five questions in this section. Candidates are required to answer all questions. Time allotted for the entire test is 90 minutes.
Those who have cleared the written examination will be short listed for interviews. There will be two rounds of interview.

• H R Interview

There will be questions from the academic topics in technical interview. In addition to this questions will be asked from latest trends in IT industry and candidates’ area of interest. Final selection will be carried out on the basis of performance in HR interview. Candidates’ communication skill will be evaluated in this section.
