i am in 4th year elec n telecomm branch.i want to know the procedure to get placed at ntpc

to get placed in NTPC first you have to appear in NTPC written examination. this is generally conducted on the month of April or May of every year. form fill up is done on the month of February. in the examination question papers consists of technical question as well as aptitude question and also few general knowledge questions are also included.

you must be very strong in technical as well as in aptitude to clear NTPC examination. because every year so many candidates are trying for NTPC. so the competition is very high but the seats are limited. if you have good subject knowledge then it will be more easy for you to clear the examination.

if you can clear the written examination then you will be called for interview. after clearing the interview through medical test you will be selected for the job. all details about NTPC careers are available in their official recruitment website http://www.ntpccareers.net/. the notification will be also available in this website. online form fill up also can be possible from this website when the notification will come. so keep visiting the website for latest updates about the NTPC careers.

Dear friend yes you will surely placed in NTPC...........

But there is some procedure to get a job in NTPC ,because NTPC is a good company............

There are two steps and 2 method to take job in NTPC....

1.ON CAMPUS PLACEMENT

2.OFF CAMPUS PLACEMENT

Because on campus placement is only possible in that college in which NTPC go............

Because NTPC will not go in private college ,NTPC will go in ONLY IIT AND NIT.............

That's why on campus placement is possible only in this college...........

If you read in private college then you can try for off campus placement for which you must give ...........

ALL INDIA exam for NTPC,Then you can get a job in NTPC..........

Every year NTPC take all India exam. and take the engineer from all India level...........

ntpc is a maharatna psu company. if u want to get into ntpc then u have to appear for their xam which is generally conducted every yr in the month of apr/may. the syllabus is that of gate but from this yr a no. of questions have been asked from instrumentation as well.preparation from a std. gate book will suffice.
