Canara Bank PO Exam Papers
Among thy banks of our country the name of Canara bank needs no introduction. The bank is a very reputed one. It holds the probationary officer exam every year. Like the PO exams of other banks the exam of Canara bank also has two stages- a written test and a personal interview.
The written test consists of two parts- an objective test and a subjective test. The subjective test is meant for qualifying purpose and the marks scored in this test are not counted for ranking. Similarly the English language test of the objective paper is also for qualifying purpose only.
There are four sections in the objective test. They are Reasoning ability, Quantitative aptitude, General awareness, and English language. The descriptive paper, on the other hand, consists of five questions, all compulsory. The questions are such that they try to assess the writing and communication skills of the candidates. The bank decides a minimum of marks which the candidates are required to score in order to pass the exam.
Both the tests have to be passed individually. The bank decides the cut-off to clear the test.
The written test is followed by a personal interview. The final merit list is prepared considering the overall performance of the candidates.
