CBSE class 12 Maths Papers




CBSE class 12 Maths question paper is a 100 marks question paper and the time allotted for the examination is 3 hours. There are 29 questions and all of them are compulsory. The question paper is divided into section A, Section B and Section C i.e. 3 sections. Section A has 10 one mark questions, Section B has 12 four marks questions and Section C has 7 six marks questions. The students are required to answer the questions of the section A i.e. 1 mark questions in one word or one sentence as per the exact condition of the question.

The students will not get any overall choice, but they have got internal choices with 2 questions of six marks each and 4 questions of four marks each. In that case only one alternative is to be attempted by the students. Calculators are not allowed inside the examination hall. However, students are supplied with logarithmic table.

The distribution of marks for the different topics is as follows:

1. Algebra (13 marks)
2. Relations and functions (10 marks)
3. Vectors & three-dimensional Geometry (17 marks)
4.  Probability (10 marks)
5.  Calculus (44 marks)
6. Linear programming (06 marks)
