CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Paper




The Central Board of Secondary Education provides a uniform curriculum which suits the needs of each and every student. It does not depend on the fact whether the student studies in a private school or a government run school. Regardless of the geographical variations the students of CBSE enjoy common privileges regarding the curriculum and academic innovations.

The pattern of the question paper chemistry class 12 is given below:

Time duration of the exam is 3 hours and maximum marks are 70.

Weightage as per the form of questions is given below:

1. Long answer type questions- marks for each question is 5. Total number of questions is 3.
2. Short answer type questions- marks for each question is 3. Total number of questions is 9.
3. Short answer- marks for each question is 2. Total number of questions is 10.
4. Very short answer- marks for each question is 1. Total number of questions is 8.

Thus the total number of questions is 30 and total marks are 70.

Scheme of options:

There will be no option in an overall sense. In questions which test higher mental abilities internal choices in five questions are given.

Numerical have been assigned a weightage of 8-10 marks in total.
