Corporation Bank was established in the year 1980 under the Government of India. The bank started its business with a capital of just Rupees 5 thousand. The bank has crossed Rs. One Lakh Twenty Five Crore mark recently. Around 2086 service outlets of the bank are spreaded across the nation with approximately 12 thousand corporation bankers serving the bank.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Clerk in Corporation Bank in various states depending on their educational qualification.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and also not more than 28 years of age as on 1 June 2010. Relaxation as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline with atleast 40% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute or university is required for applying for the post.
No. of posts: Total 1250 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the consolidated salary of Rs. 4410-13210.
Selection process:
Selection for the posts of Clerk in Corporation Bank will be made on the basis of candidates’s performance in written test followed by a personal interview test that will be conducted by the supposed authorities of the bank. The written test will be held on 12 September 2010.
How to apply: Candidates should apply online only at Corporation Bank’s website. Candidates are also required to submit an application fee of Rs. 200 (Rs. 50 for reserved category candidates) in cash at any of the branches of Corporation Bank to A/C no. 0377/CA/01/000709 under “Any Branch Banking” facility.
