National Seeds Corporation (NSC) Ltd started functioning from the year 1963.The NSC Ltd works under the control of the Ministry of Agriculture of Government of India. The primary objective of the NSC Ltd is to meet the challenges of providing food and nutritional security to the people. The NSC Ltd is mainly involved in the marketing, processing and production of agricultural seeds.

The agricultural products cultivated by the NSC Ltd include pulses, cereals, oilseeds, fodder, fiber and vegetable crops. The NSC Ltd established the development of Indian Seed Industry. The NSC Ltd ensures to supply hybrids of all major cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and other vegetable crops and quality seeds of high yielding varieties. The NSC Ltd involves in multiplication and production of major crop seeds with the help of the ICAR and SAUs.

Eligibility:

Educational qualification – The candidates must have must have Master’s degree in agriculture field. Candidates with MBA in rural development or marketing are also eligible to apply. Candidates with post graduate degree with at least 10 years working experience in State/ central agriculture departments/ research institutions are also eligible. The candidates must have worked in IT enabled environment and must have good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and Databases.
