Can i get job in abroad for hindi teacher?....please tell me if i can get a job

Yes you can get a job abroad for hindi teacher but the opportunities are a little less,as you can teach only in forieghn language centers,or in religious schools,but you may also try for translater in the embassy

Yes there is a scope of teaching Hindi is US schools something which may sound very strange to some people but it is true. Every year several schools in United States demand the Indian teachers because of shortages that has occured in United States.


Generally the HRD Ministry plays the crucial role of helping US schools recruit teachers from India. What is surprising to some is that now US schools are demanding teachers from ndia who can teach Hindi to American students.

It may sound unbelievable but the HRD Ministry itself has verified this fact. The recruitment process is done by a branch of HRD Ministry called Education Consultants India Limited (EdCIL).


The EdCIL signed a memorandum American Department of Education to export full time Indian teachers to United States. What generally happens is that a delegation from United States visit India looking for the teachers. The Education Consultants India Limited chooses a group of teachers and bring them to Delhi for interview with the delegation. After which the delegation gets their pick and pay is negotiated.

What started with teachers for Engineering and Science subjects has now reached for Hindi teachers. The reason is very simple for those who follow global economic scene. Few years ago United States introduced Mandarian as one of the foreign languages in their schools so that its students can take advantage of booming Chinese economy. Now same step has been taken and Hindi is also introduced so that US children can take advantage of rising superpower India.


Although this is being done on very small scale. Not every single school in United States is teaching Hindi like they teach French or Spanish. However Hindi has slowly started to gain momentum.


To become a possible candidate to teach Hindi in United States you would require to submit application to the EdCIL. The basic requirement is master's degree with a B.Ed or an M.Ed with at least 3 years working experience.


I should also tell you that you Hindi should be pure and of course there should be some understanding of English as well otherwise you won't be able to communicate with the American students.


The pay is somewhere between 10 to 15 Lakh per year.
