Qualifying exam

Candidates who would like to join a cosmetology program must have passed a licensed cosmetology school. They are required to pass a written examination which is conducted by the school of cosmetology.

Who is eligible to apply?

Candidates must be Indian citizens. They should be atleast 17 years at the time of applying for the course. The aspirants must have passed the qualifying exams or its equal from an accepted school of cosmetology. The training programs hairstyling and cosmetology will be of a 9 months period. In this method, the candidates can secure an associate degree.

How to prepare for exam and interview?

Before the candidates are appearing for the examination, they must make sure that all the required study materials are available for their use. The necessary tools must be purchased before the date of the exam because this gives the candidates a chance to get familiar with them. Candidates can also practice for the written examination and time themselves. Another important thing the candidate should remember is that, they must have absolute cleanliness in working.  At the time of interview, the candidate must be careful to answer to the point.
