I'm pursuing degree in civil engineering {i.e AMICE} from the Institution of Civil Engineers(India), ludiana punjab. Is the ICE(India),a AICTE approved Institution ? Is this degree awarded by ICE is recognized by central or state governments for jobs ? Whether this degree will make eligible for doing ME/MTech in central or state government's Universities/college ?

Yeah don't worry about approval it is approved by AICTE , UPSC and DEC

So the degree what you are pursuing is valuable in all the ways. After knowing that these degree is approved by AICTE and UGC you are clearly eligible for taking higher studies with M.Tech or like.

You are firmly eligible for all kinds of further studies after completing this degree in ICE like the other students.

friend amice or ice is totally valid and is at par with getting a regular grad. degree from an engg. instt. hence u can definately sit for govt. jobs as well as can pursue higher studies in the field. moreover this degree has been recognised by all statutory bodies including aicte and board of tech. education
