Admission Procedure in NIT, Puducherry

Admission to under graduate courses is carried out on the basis of scores obtained in national level common entrance exams such as ISEET. Final selection is based on the composite scores obtained in qualifying examination, entrance test as well the counseling conducted by Central Counseling Board (CCB).

The institute considers Graduate Aptitude Test for admission for Master of Technology courses. Candidates are required to apply from the official website of the institution based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam. They will have to submit the originals of all supporting documents at the time of admission.
Those who have completed graduation in any degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for MCA course. Admission is carried out on the basis of NIMCET exam conducted by the institution.

Admission to MBA program is carried out on the basis of CAT/ MAT examination. Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university is the minimum educational qualification.
