President of India is the Chancellor of the university while Dr. Jairup Singh is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university actually came into existence through an Act of Parliament named The Central Universities Act, 2009 by Government of India. The campus of the university is spreaded in a vast area of around 500 acres. The transit campus of the university is located at Bhatinda. Educational Qualifiction: Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required. Atleast 5 years of experience as Lecturer in a college or university is also required.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Librarian:
