Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited shortly called as CVPP is a joint venture company of the PTC (India) Limited, JKSPDC and the NHPC formed for the purpose of implementation of Kwar, Kiru and Pakal Dul Hydroelectric projects in Chenab River Basin at the Kishtwar District of the state of Jammu & Kashmir with an aggregate capacity of 2120 mw.

Recruitment by CVPP:

CVPP is planning to recruit candidates for the positions of engineer, senior accountant and supervisor on fixed tenure basis and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the company in this regard:

Name of the Vacancies: Engineers (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical), Senior Accountant and Supervisor (Information Technology)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 20, which is divided among different positions mentioned above as follows:

• Engineer (Civil) – 10

• Engineer (Electrical) – 02

• Engineer (Mechanical) – 02

• Senior Accountant – 04

• Supervisor (IT) - 02

Remuneration: Since the appointments will be on fixed tenure basis, candidates will be getting a salary of Rs.18150 per month, Rs.13500 per month and Rs.9680 per month respectively for Engineer, Senior Accountant and Supervisor positions respectively. In addition, they will also be getting site allowance and conveyance allowance as well.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Engineer: Candidates should have completed B.E/B. Tech/AMIE in appropriate discipline from a recognized institution or university approved by AICTE with not less than 55% of marks or its equivalent grade. Applicants with experience in relevant field and working knowledge of AutoCAD will be given preference.

Senior Accountant: Candidates must have completed their CA/ICWA inter and candidates with experience in relevant field or higher qualification will be given preference.

Supervisor (IT): Required educational qualification is Diploma in Computer applications or equivalent from a recognized institution or university approved by the AICTE with not less than 55% of marks or equivalent grade. Candidates with experience in relevant field or higher qualification will be given preference.

Age: For all positions, the upper age requirement is 30 years as on the 31st of October 2011.

Selection Procedure:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and candidates succeeding in the interview will be given offer letter on fixed tenure basis.
