ESI Act the Central Govt. set up under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 to administer the social insurance scheme. The primary mission of the Corporation is to provide definite benefits to workers in case of sickness, maternity and employment injury and to provide necessary help for other related matters. Thus, the Corporation prevents the loss of earning capacity or wages due to the above said health conditions of workers. The corporation also ensures reasonable medical care to employees and their dependents who are directly dependent on them. The Director General is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and is also the ex-officio member of the Corporation. The corporation has its Headquarters in New Delhi. The Corporation has 2 Divisional Offices, 23 Regional Offices, 26 sub-Regional Offices, 197 Cash offices, 611 Branch Offices, and 352 Inspection Offices throughout India.

Job Profile:

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer.

No. of posts: Executive Engineer - 5, Assistant Engineer – 23

Pay Scale – Executive Engineer - Rs. 35000 per month, Assistant Engineer - Rs. 28000 per month.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The upper age limit is 64 yrs.

Educational qualification – Executive Engineer: Diploma / Degree of Engineering in relevant field. Only retired persons served as Executive Engineer will be eligible. Assistant Engineer: Diploma / Degree of Engineering in relevant field. Only retired persons served as Assistant Engineer will be eligible.
