Company profile: ESIC is a statutory body constituted under the parliament’s ESI Act, 1948. It provides insurance to a large number of employees and has many hospitals and offices under it. It has been providing a large number of schemes and benefits for a common man.  

Job profile: The executive and the assistant engineers will be responsible for planning, constructing, executing and maintaining the projects in the civil engineering department and they will also be responsible for managing various activities of their department and report regularly to their senior authorities. The EEs and AEs can be posted anywhere in India depending upon the project requirement.

Educational Qualifications: Professor - A candidate must have a B.E/B.TECH degree in civil engineering from a recognized university and a minimum of 5 years experience in construction, planning and maintenance of civil engineering projects for an EE (executive engineer) and a 2 years experience for an AE (assistant engineer).

No. of posts: There are 20 posts in total which include 5 posts for EEs and 15 posts for AEs.

Pay scale: The pay scale for an EE is Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs6600 and for an AE it is Rs9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs4600.

Selection procedure: The candidates have to appear for an interview. The selections will be based on their qualifications, experience and engineering skills and knowledge.
