Hi everyone, I have completed my 10th and belongs to Odisha. Currently I am in Guwahati and looking forward to apply for Assam PAT. So, I would like to know that can I be eligible to appear in Assam PAT if I am from Odisha?

You are not eligible to appear in Assam PAT if belongs to Odisha. In order to be eligible to appear in the Assam PAT, you must be the permanent resident of Assam state. You must have passed H.S.L.C./10th examination from the recognized board/institute with mathematics and science as the main subject with minimum 40% marks in case of general category (35% for SC and 33% for ST candidates).

You can apply as an outside candidate, but you will not be eligible for reservation and government colleges or any kind of state government scholarship scheme. Only domicile candidates will be eligible for such benefits.

Being an outside state candidate, you will be only eligible for admission at private colleges in Assam through PAT.
