Hello,
I have studied Diploma(Polytechnic) after 10th and then B.Tech in CSE. Am I eligible to sit in IBPS PO exam and Specialist officer. I have got 58.6%, 73%and 65% in 10th, Diploma and B.Tech respectively?

Yes, you are eligible to sit in both the exams namely IBPS Probationary Officer Recruitment and IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment. There are many posts available in IBPS Specialist Officer recruitment and they are, Law Officer, IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Marketing Officer, HR or Personnel Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari. Out of the posts mentioned earlier, you are eligible to apply for "IT Officer" post.

* 4 year Engineering degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Computer Applications/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication from a recognized university.

* As you have completed B.Tech in Computer Science, I am sure you are eligible to appear in IBPS SO recruitment.

IBPS PO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

>> The basic educational qualification required to be eligible is "Graduate Degree" or a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.

>> As B.Tech in CSE is a Graduate Degree, I am sure you are eligible to apply for IBPS PO Recruitment.

You have completed B.Tech in CSE, so you are eligible for IBPS PO and IBPS IT officer exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized University are eligible for IBPS PO exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 30 years.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree in IT or CSE from a recognized University are eligible for IBPS IT officer exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 34 years.

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for eligible to IBPS and Specialist officer exam.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO Exam:

Educational Qualification: The candidate must complete Graduation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university and final year candidate may also eligible to apply.

The applicant age should be in between 20 years to 30 years and relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates based such as, 3 years for SC/ST candidates and 5 years for OBC category candidates.

Being a Engineering student you can apply for IBPS Specialist Officers (I.T. Officer Post). The refer the eligibility criteria below;

Eligibility Criteria IBPS Specialist Officers (I.T. Officer) Eligibility Details:

For I.T (Officer Post): The candidate must complete B.Tech or B.E in any one of the specialization like, Engineering Degree in Computer
Science, Computer Applications, Information, Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation etc with 60% of marks from a recognized university.

Sir i have done b.tech in software engineering what should I fill computer science or computer applications in IBPS SO

No you are not eligible and I had to learn that the hard way after going through all the answers in this forum I was pretty optimistic but when I was really in for a shocker.

Though there is a way out if you have the following qualification in your CV :- 10 Dip.(3Years) B.Tech(3 Years) .

There is a course known as DOEACC "B" Level you have to complete that its pretty easy and cheap.Though you can get admitted only after your B.Tech/Graduation is complete.

Then you will be fully eligible and have no further issues.

I have completed MASTER'S IN APPLIED MANAGEMENT (MAM) with HR and FINANCE with no minor and major specialization 5 Year integrated management course from aktu.... I m eligible for ibps so or not???

After 10th I did diploma in EEE and b. Tech in EC. Am i eligible gor ibps so exam?
