Hello,
I am pursuing Diploma in Fashion
Technology and after this I want to study B.F.Tech in NIFT.
Kindly tell me I can get lateral entry in this course or not?

Yes there is a Lateral entry course for Fashion Technology after successful completion of Diploma in Fashion Technology. You need to give an exam called " All India Entrance Exam " to get admission for " B.F Tech with Lateral Entry" .

There by you will have Interview to get admission through Lateral Entry for B.F Tech. With this you can directly admit into the 3rd semester or 2nd year of B.F Tech.

Eligibility Criteria for B.F.Tech through Lateral Entry :

>> You should complete at least Diploma( 3 years Full time) in below streams from the recognized University( Recognized by AICTE) .

* Diploma in Fashion Technology

* Handloom Technology

* Textile and Accessories

* Interior Design

* Industrial Design etc.,

* Admission will be based on the Written Examination( Aptitude Test ) and Interview.

Yes you can get lateral entry in b.f.tech if you have completed 3 year diploma in fashion tech. But you have required to give lateral entry test for getting it.
