i am diploma in INSTITUTE OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERS.Now i want to study BE (EC) in karnataka.am i elegible for CET lateral entry exam?

Eligibility is the same for all lateral entry seats. You will have to appear for entrance exam. You must have passed diploma with 60% in your final year.

So if you clear this eligibility in you ECE course then you can surely be eligible for lateral entry seat...

Yes, off course you are eligible for lateral entry into BTech 2nd year degree course after completing diploma in engineering provided you have secured a first division i.e. 60% in diploma in engineering.

For getting entry through lateral entry scheme you have to appear in the entrance exam i.e. CET. After successfully clearing the entrance exam you can take admission in btech 2nd year in desired college.

but to take admission in btech, you have to qualify JELET(joint entrance lateral entry

test) exam.

anyone is eligible for lateral entry after completion of diploma. to take admission you have to appear in lateral entry entrance examination and you have to score good to take your college of choice. best wishes.

Hello,

There is no any special criteria or procedure for taking admission in B.E. after diploma in IETE (EC).

You can take direct admission in B.E. as a transfer course and in transfer course, the course duration of B.E. will be 3 years.

In transfer course you can take admission in 2nd year in any branch and you may contact to college / university where you want to take admission regarding transfer course.

As in know you can take admission in B.Tech after diploma in IETE if you have 60% or more.
you can go though lateral entry scheme after giving the entrance exam.

If you are in final year in diploma then you can apply for the lateral entry examination. you can apply for the CET examination by lateral entry. you are eligible for the B.E. by lateral entry examination.

I am Studying in EC Engg(Diploma) Scored 78.56 in First Sem And 73.5 in Second Sem And 79.2 in third..
I think My Overall average % will be About 75%..
so would i will be able to enter in good College with not more donation...

You should have 60% aggregate to appear for Lateral entry test.You will be required to give entrance exam .

a resident of Karnataka will complete his diploma in Electronics and communication in 2010 from a recognized private engineering college of Karnataka. He wants to take admission in B.E. in Karnataka under Lateral Entry category. Because he is from outside Karnataka what are the rules for such admission.

Iam studying for diploma in computer science & engineering of IETE (DipIETE CS). can i write Lateral entry test for B-Tech after completion of my course?.

as i'm diploma 5th sem EC student can i give the exam of iit jee and in which year in running year or next year.Is this exam is ocurs two times like(11th moving and 12th moving). On which base i can give the exam because our result come out in july.Is it possible to get admission in same field in iit after giving exam.which books should i have to prefare as your suggetion and how to prepare for that.

Eligibility for lateral entry for BE/Btech after diploma in IETE in computer science & Engineering(CS)

after the doing diploma in IETE can i apply to AMIE for B.E

i want to join regular B.E in karnataka.I completed my diploma from IETE with 6.8 CGPA but karnataka govt will not consider IETE diploma for lateral entry so could you please tell me the reason for that??

The eligibility criteria for lateral entry-

1. You have to pass the diploma with 60%
2. you have to qualify in the entrance exam

Then a counseling will be conducted , where you can choose your suitable college.
