Can I study Diploma in Civil Engineering on 10th basis?
I have finished my class 10 and I have secured 58% marks. I don’t want to study Higher Secondary. Instead of HS I want to do diploma course. I have an interest in Civil Engineering. So, I am eligible to apply for diploma course in Civil Engineering.

Yes, you can take admission in Civil Engineering after completion of 10th standard .
You have to appear in entrance examination. Then after declaration of examination result you called for counselling to choose your stream in polytechnic. Then after choosing your stream your academic records are checked. Then after verifying your documents you are allowed to take admission in college. But after diploma you do not get more salary so it will be better for you to complete your graduation and appear in civil service examination for the posts of IAS, IFS, IPS posts. |

Re: Can I study Diploma in Civil Engineering on 10th basis?
Hi,
The minimum eligibility criteria for diploma is- --> Candidate must have completed SSC or 10th Standard by scoring minimum of 35% marks. As you have secured 58% marks in your 10th Standard, you are eligible to do diploma course in Civil Engineering. But for that you have to attempt the entrance test first. Once you get qualified, in web counselling based on your rank and the colleges you opted you will be allotted seat. Thanks |
