Can I study distance Diploma in Electrical Engineering being a Railway employee on ITI basis?


Sir,
I am working in Railway Department after doing ITI 2 years course in Electrical Trade. But now I want to do Diploma in Electrical Engineering with continuing my job. Can I do it through distance mode?

Yes, you can study the Diploma in Electrical Engineering through distance education in SSK College Distance Education Center. The aspirant can join the course directly to the 2nd year through lateral entry with ITI qualifications. Then the duration of the course is 2 years. You can find the details in the website link Official website.

You can also study the Diploma in Electrical Engineering course at EIMES. The eligibility to do the course is a pass in 10th standard/ITI. The duration of the course is 3 years. The website link is Official website.

Yes, you can pursue Diploma in Electrical Engineering course.

The minimum academic criteria to pursue Diploma course is that the candidate must have passed class 10 examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized board of education.

To pursue Diploma course through distance mode one has only few colleges. Also the candidate must have to meet the age criteria.
