After completing ITI can we give the lateral entry to the civil diploma course. For that we have to give an entrance exam. After exam one can admitted directly 2nd year to the diploma course by counseling process.

Yes, you can get lateral entry admission in second year of Diploma civil course after completion of your two years ITI course from a recognized institution. Candidates who have passed two years ITI Diploma course or 12th standard with vocational stream from a recognized institution are eligible to get direct admission in second year of three years Diploma course through lateral entry admission process by appearing and qualifying the lateral entry examinations like VOCLET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state board of technical education.
