The govt job asking 3 year diploma but I complete diploma in lateral entry after ITI, am I illegible for this post or exam?? Is lateral entry diploma similar to 3 year diploma course? How to find out it is or not? Can you please provide me the right information on the same? Thank you!

Yes, the lateral entry diploma is similar to a 3 years diploma course. The diploma course duration after 10th standard is three years. But, for those who have studied 10+2 are given lateral entry admission to diploma course. The lateral entry duration is 2 years only. Actually the diplomas studied in both regular and lateral entry are the same value. The state board of technical education will only allow the 10+2 candidates for the lateral entry admission. So there are no issues in it.
