After diploma in Architecture you may have better career opportunity in B.E Civil Engineering. In spite of B Arch, B.E Civil Engineering have good scope in both the public and private sectors. After diploma you can join directly second year in B.E Civil Engineering through lateral entry. There are so many universities which offers B.E Civil Engineering through lateral Entry.

The duration for B.E Civil Engineering after diploma is 3 years. From admission point of view you need to write an entrance exam for B.E Engineering which is organized by the respective university. The minimum percentage of marks may vary from university to university. You need to score at least 50% marks in Diploma course.
