There is a big question for almost student after completion of 12th, that what may be the stream for him/her.
You have many options after plus two but you should choose the field in which you are interested. If you are interested in science, it depends on your subject in 12th. If it is PCM you may go for Engineering and if it is biology you may proceed in medical. Engineering in mechanical or civil is best at this time because it has good demand now a days. You may also appear in Engineering entrance test for acquiring better colleges.

i am a student of std 10th and i hav planned to opt for science in 11th excluding biology but i am not interested in appearing for engineer IIT exams so what else options do i have?

Sorry dear, But if you was not interested in Engineering you had to avoid PCM. There is an option that you can proceed your studies by doing B.sc and after that you have to take admssion in PG and again PHD. All this take 7 years and you can become a professor. Or you can change your subject but it takes off your one year.
