DSSSB recruits diploma holder candidates for primary teachers position (PRT). For TGT and PGT you should have completed your graduation and post graduation from a recognized university. Here are the terms and conditions for a diploma holder to become a teacher:

> You should have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board.

> You should have completed 2 years diploma in Elementary Teacher Education or Basic Training.

> You should have studied Hindi as one of your subjects at 11th and 12th level.

> You must have basic knowledge in computer.

With this eligibility you have to appear for CTET examination after qualifying which you can become a teacher.
