After completion of diploma course in Mechanical Engineering, you can join Indian Air Force through Airman in Group X Technical.

Applicant should have completed diploma course from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for Airman in Group X Technical exam.

Applicant age should be between 17 years to 20 years.

On the basis of your diploma in mechanical engineering you can apply for Group X Technical trade in Indian Air Force. Selection will be based on the performance in the written exam and physical fitness test.

This trade is specially for diploma engineers. You have to pass various tests related to your field before you are selected. Also, make sure you are medically fit according to Indian Air Force rules.

I am happy to say you that after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, you can definitely join Indian Air Force through Airman in Group X Technical.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should pass class 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject.

The candidate's age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

The candidate must be an unmarried male.

The candidate should should be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be physically fit as per the requirements.

The minimum height of the candidate should be of 160 cm.

The eye sight of the candidate must be 6/6 without glasses.

If you satisfy all the above, then you can easily join Indian Air Force.
