YES sure, you can join Indian Air Force after completing diploma in mechanical engineering. To join it you need to crack NDA entrance examination. NDA stands for National Defence Academy & NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in year.

Educational Qualification require for NDA Exam:
-----------------------------------------------

You should have completed 12th standard or Equivalent course like Diploma with Physics & Mathematics subjects from recognized university/board.

There is no restriction on minimum percentage of marks for this exam. You can also apply while in final examination of above such program.


Age criteria for NDA Exam:

To appear in NDA exam your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.


Nationality,Gender & Martial status for NDA exam:
--------------------------------------------------

You should be Indian Citizen, Mae & Unmarried.



Physical Standard reuired for Indian Air Force:

-Date of Notification: 05/05/2012

If you are aspiring to join Indian Air Force then you should have to apply for NDA examination and for that you have to fulfill the following Qualification....

<3 A candidate must have completed their 12th Science from Recognized board.

<3 Only Unmarried Male can apply for it.

[COLOR="DarkRed"<3[/COLOR] Age of candidate must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

<3 A candidate must have a citizenship of INDIA.

Exam pattern:

1. Prelim Exam
2. Main exam

The procedure to apply to Indian Air Force after completing diploma in mechanical engineering is listed below:-

He should be unmarried.
He should be a citizen of India.
His age should be in between 16 and half year to 19 years.
He should have completed 12th from a recognized board with atleast minimum 60% of marks.
