Does graduate diploma equivalent to degree?

I would like to know does graduate diploma equivalent to degree. I have a graduate diploma in management studies, please advise is this equivalent to Bachelor of Business Administration.

No Diploma in Management studies is not equal to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course. Only Post Graduation in Management studies is equal to BBA course. However, you are eligible to apply for BBA course after Diploma in Management studies.

Bachelor of Business Administration ( BBA ) is a Bachelor degree course in Management Specialization. The duration of the course is three years which are divided into six semesters.

Eligibility Criteria:-

• The students those who have completed the 12th standard are eligible to apply for the BBA course. Those who have completed 12th stnadard in commerce stream can easily get admission to this course.

• Those candidates who have done diploma course in Management specialization can also eligible to apply for this course. A minimum of 45 % marks in the qualifying examination is a must to seek admission to the same.

• The admission to this course is offered on the basis of the marks scored in 12th board exam.

No, according to the norms of the UGC, a candidate is said to have graduated if and only if he has completed his education from a recognized university under the scheme of 10+2+3.

After the diploma too, if you want to be called as a graduate then you have to take the admission in some or the other degree course.
