I wanted to know if the graduate diploma course is equivalent to a graduate degree course
as offered by N.S.D.L thrugh their distance learning program?

No, both are different diploma and graduate courses are different. It is necessary to do degree after the diploma course and after diploma course you may get direct admission in 2nd year through lateral entry scheme. And if you want to do diploma or degree course through distance education then of course you can definitely apply for those courses.

There are many colleges or universities in which you can apply for the admission and i think it is best to get a good college for the diploma or degree course.

All are best for the distance education. So, you should go for it. But i think regular courses are best in contrary to distance education so try to get good college for the regular studies.

No, according to the norms of the UGC, a candidate is said to have graduated if and only if he has completed his education from a recognized university and board under the scheme of 10+2+3.

After the diploma too, if you want to be called as a graduate then you have to take the admission in some or the other degree course.

No diploma is not equivalent to graduate degree it is different as diploma includes 3 year of learning and degree involves 4 and you will learn things in detail in degree even if ot is through distance learning
