Lateral entry for Diploma Holder to Degree programs
I am an employee having 15 years of work experience. During my education period, after completing 2 course, I have done 3 yrs. diploma (Polytechnic) in Electronics & Commns. Since I got a Job immediately after completion of diploma, I never had a chance to take a degree. Now I feel I should complete a degree program and that too business management/Admin. as specialisation. Can i get a lateral entry to the second year and which all universities are offering complete online education including examination in this matter. Please reply

Re: Lateral entry for Diploma Holder to Degree programs
You can get lateral entry only into Engineering Graduation as you have Diploma in Engineering qualification. BBA course will not give lateral entry to Diploma in Engineering holders. Hence, you can apply for admission in B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and AMIE, if you are interested in becoming a Engineering Graduate.
You are a professional who is working and AMIE will be good for you as it is a correspondence Engineering Graduation with no regular classes and you can study at your own time. AMIE will have 13 subjects for Diploma holders and you are definitely eligible for this course. After passing all these subjects you will become a Graduate Engineer. You are interested in doing course from your home and there is no better option than AMIE. Therefore, apply for it. |
