i want to know that lateral admission for diploma holder is possible in AIEEE and the entrance test will also different for lateral entry.......

dear (AIEE) is All India Engineering Entrance Examination which is organized by Central Board of Secondary Education wile the (LEET)lateral admission for diploma holder is organized by STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION hence both are different.

srry there is no such availability of seats in aieee ...the candidates who wanted to stdy in the top mosted nit colleges , they should give the aieee exam .... and there is no any other lateral exam for diplomatic students for entering directly into the 2nd year ......
better you can try the seat in top colleges at your area ..there may be a possibilty for lateral entry ...

Dear pal,
AIEEE exam is conducted for admitting the aspirants to the engineering degree in top institutions in India.
The eligibility for appearing in the exam includes
1. The aspirant should have passed 10+2 exam either from state board or central board
2. The aspirant should have chosen mathematics, physics,and chemistry as their higher secondary subjects.
3. The aspirant can attempt the exam for 3 times only.
4. Diploma holder with diploma from a recognised university can also apply.
By applying for this the diploma holder will be admitted to the first year of the engineering course and not to second years that is there is no lateral admission through the exam
diploma aspirants are admitted by means of lateral entry conducted by the state government. The admission is based on entrance exam or by the counselling which is based on the marks in diploma. There is no national level counseling for admitting the diploma aspirants. One can get through the state counselling. In many states counselling is based on the marks in diploma so do well in your diploma course
