my self,sani gaikwad,i am petrochemical diploma passout can i get admission in mechanical diploma in dte

Sorry to say you but this is not possible. You are not allowed to get admission in B.tech from Mechanical trade as you completed your diploma from Petrochemical trade. You cannot change stream in engineering. So if you want to do b.tech from your relevant trade then you need to give an entrance exam for this i.e. LEET.

LEET stands for Lateral Entry Engineering Test which is conducted for diploma holders for getting admission in 2nd year of B.Tech.

This test is conducted in two parts i.e. General Exam & Professional Exam.

In general exam they will ask questions related to your subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English etc.

While in Professional exam they will ask questions related to your trade i.e. Petrochemical.
