I did my ITI(2 years)course in Draghtman civil in 2011, i want to do diploma course in instruments mechanic or in diesel mechanic. Is it possible to get admission in this trade on bases of my ITI civil certificates.

There is no such course as a Diploma in Instrument Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic. Candidates after completion of ITI can study Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course. The ITI completed candidates are admitted to the second year of the diploma course. Diploma course duration is two years. Candidates are admitted to the diploma in mechanical engineering course based on the marks scored in the lateral entry examination. Diploma in mechanical engineering course is available in many polytechnic colleges.
