No, Diploma holders cannot get admission in NIT. To be eligible to get admission in NIT, the candidate must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects and must have to appear, qualify and secure good rank in JEE Main examination from a recognised board. Since, you have not pursued 12th standard, being a Diploma holder, you cannot get admission in NIT.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to go for NIT course as to be eligible for it, candidates must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent with PCM.
Therefore, as you have not completed your 12th standard, you are not eligible for it. |

You cannot get seat in NIT(National institute of Technology) for doing graduation course after completing you diploma course.
Because for getting admission in the NIT candidate must have completed his/her 12th standard or it's equivalent with Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry as main subjects. As you have done your diploma you will not have all these Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry subjects in your diploma so you are not eligible for diploma. But you can get seat in the universities/colleges approved by 'AICTE'. For that you have to give the entrance test conducted by your state education board and qualify the test by scoring good marks,so that you can get seat in your desired college and stream. |
