Whether LEET is only available for Government approved Diploma students? IETE student can't appear in it?
Sir,
I am from Kerala and I have completed my Diploma in IETE. I would like to attend B.Tech Lateral Entry exam. Am I eligible for this exam? I think LEET only for Government approved Diploma students. Can you give me reply immediately. With Regards- Lekha Murukan |

No, LEET examination is not only for Government approved Diploma students. Candidates who completed three years Diploma in Engineering course from any recognised board are eligible to appear in LEET examination. By qualifying the LEET examination, Diploma holders can get direct admission in second year of four years Engineering course. Since, you have completed your three years Diploma course from IETE, you are eligible to appear in LEET examination.
