Yes, you have the opportunity to get scholarship to study Ph.D. The scholarship can be provided by the respective university itself. Basically, the scholarship can be provided by the marks you scored in your PG Degree. For the scholarship procedure may differs with college to college. For Indian student government provides Abdul Kalam scholarship (APJ) under this scholarship they provide a total of 60 scholarships to Indian students studying in the Schools of: Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science; and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. So,you can apply for the scholarship.
