How to get AICTE scholarship if studying B.Tech in other state?
Sir, we want to apply for scholarship at AICTE. Can we apply if I am from UP? Other state scholarship is not allowed in SRM B.Tech, Kattankulathur Campus, Chennai. I am first year general category student. My father income is less than two lacs. So, how can I get scholarship? Please tell me the procedure.

Yes, you should have taken admission in your state for scholarship which is provided by state government. As far as AICTE scholarship is concerned, that can be availed at any recognized institute after getting admission in B.Tech degree.
After qualifying GATE, you can apply for stipend for M.Tech studies. This stipend is granted by AICTE. Hence, you have got confused between state government scholarship and AICTE stipend. |
