How to get JRF scholarship in time without any delay?

I have submitted all the necessary documents for jrf scholarship and it is more than six months after my enrollment as a research scholar. But I have not received any amount yet. When i enquired about this to the canara bank, they just told me that it was not on their part. How should i get my scholarship in time?
